Funnel stage is a sub state of Prospect and appears only on prospect pages. A new prospect normally starts at Not contacted.

A prospect is not an account and belongs to no organization yet. It becomes one only when it is converted, which is done from the prospect's own page and opens the matching create form. Whoever adds it is recorded, the same way the prospect detail page shows who added it.
