We spent a full season testing 14 bird feeders in backyards, on balconies, and in one very squirrel-dense park. The Aurora Feeder came out on top. Holds up to a full season of heavy use without a hint of rust, and the latch still clicked shut cleanly at the end.

Assembly was another bright spot. The easiest setup of any feeder we tested this year, with no tools needed and clear markings on every part. Seed stays dry even in a downpour thanks to the deep roof overhang.

For city testers, the refill design mattered most. Refills without a ladder, the baffle actually stops squirrels, and it looks handsome enough for a front porch.
