Citations placed counts the ones a retailer has selected, across every retailer. A publisher has no dashboard of its own in V1 and no one at a publisher signs in, so this page is the whole of what we hold about them.

SurfaceDefault rateThis partner
Direct placements$4.00 per 1,000 viewable citations $4.00 per 1,000
Paid ads$0.10 per click $0.12 per click Override

A rate shows as an override only when it differs from the default, so the one that does is visible at a glance and the one that does not reads as ordinary. Rates are negotiated rather than set by the partner, which is why they live here and nowhere the publisher can reach: V1 gives a publisher no login at all. Change a rate on Edit publisher.

Assets Tab

What we hold for this publisher, and all of it now has a consumer. The mark is the circle beside the publisher's name wherever a citation names its source. The type and color are handed to the retailer in the implementation box on their own placement pages, so a paid ad creative can be built in the publisher's brand and a direct placement can be styled to match it. Imagery is the one thing V1 still does not draw, because V1 produces no creatives itself: the retailer builds the ad.

A font is a name and a file, because a name alone renders nothing on a machine without the typeface installed. The file is optional where the publisher names a common web font it cannot hand over a licence to.

Status

Deactivating a publisher hides its articles and citations from retailers browsing for something to select. Placements a retailer already made keep rendering, because the quote is already on their page. It is reversible and nothing is deleted.
